What does Taskeen Paris Corner smell like?
It’s weird though coz from afar it’s not too bad, it does actually smell sweet and like Eclaire, but up close it’s exactly like a raw mushroom. I wanted to love this so bad because I love caramel scents but this was a no I really can’t get over that burnt smell. To me this kind of smells like a cheap body spray from the dollar store for children, not sure if this would have gotten better after some time but I really can’t see this getting better tbh. I won’t use it that much, so it is a pass for me, but it maybe nice for those who are looking for that peachy bath product scent.
It’s odd because I finished off my Qissa Delicious and decided I wouldn’t repurchase it because I didn’t feel like it was strong enough, but I could smell it on myself much longer than Caramel Cascade or Eclaire, so I would just repurchase Qissa Delicious or Sweet Tooth(they smell the exact same to me) to get this scent profile with better performance. Caramel Cascade in my experience lasts a lot more than Eclaire, i easily reach 10 hours or so on the skin and a lot more on clothes, Taskeen takes the win here. It still has a little bit of a minty smell in the opening but that airs out quickly and it dries into a nice sugary caramel scent. But those weird smells are not overpowering the caramel tone, so it is a safe blind buy for those Eclair and Bianco Latte lovers.
Smells like mushrooms about to turn and those cheap lightweight balls in the elastic cages in the supermarket. Hated the intial spray but man the dry down is where the magic happens, smells like a milky caramel vanilla and the projection and longevity is INSANE, i don’t believe in fragrance maceration and not much changed since i got it 5 months ago, but i would rather just buy the original instead of spending money on synthetic dupes, i can only imagine how the real BL smells like. It lasts forever on my clothes, which I love, and when I smell it, it smells like Caramel cascade usually does to me – sugary and sweet. I was hoping for a lovely juicy peach but this is just bitter, plastic, synthetic and alcoholy smelling.

I did not, thankfully, smell the rubbery scent others have experienced, but I do smell a little licorice scent to it. Taskeen Caramel – worst quality of the 3, if you don’t smell the mushrooms it’s an ok blind buy but I’d say get Eclaire. Smells like sweet mushrooms 🤢 I decanted this and just made a body oil to dilute that mushroom smell. I recommend letting it oxidate (the oxygen in the perfume can make some changes in the notes of a perfume). I have a small collection of Arab perfumes and they all came in with that plastic bottle, rubber smell and it was disgusting.
