Who we are
This website, www.jagcouture.com, and the Jag Couture mobile app are run by Jag Couture Limited, trading as Jag Couture London – New York. We are a private limited company registered in England & Wales (company number 13579978). Our registered office is 415 High Street, Stratford, London E15 4QZ, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy and we are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), registration number ZB229520.

What we collect
- Order and account details: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number, the items you order and your order history. If you create an account we also keep your login details.
- Payment details: payments are taken by our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, phone, contact form or chat, including support requests and reviews.
- Comments: if you leave a comment, we collect the details in the comment form, plus your IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam.
- Technical information: your IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and how you use the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookies Policy).
- Marketing preferences: your email address and whether you have agreed to receive offers from us.
How we use your information and why
- To take, process, deliver and support your orders, and to handle returns and refunds. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
- To run your account and answer your questions. Legal basis: contract, and our legitimate interest in good customer service.
- To keep our records, accounts and tax information as the law requires. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- To prevent fraud and spam and to keep the site secure. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- To improve the website and app and understand how they are used. Legal basis: legitimate interests, or your consent for non-essential cookies.
- To send you news and offers by email. Legal basis: your consent, or our legitimate interest in contacting existing customers about similar products, always with an easy way to opt out.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with organisations that help us run the business, and only as much as they need: payment providers and card processors; delivery couriers; website hosting, security and anti-spam services; email, customer messaging and review services; analytics and advertising partners (only where you have accepted the relevant cookies); and our accountants and professional advisers. We may also share information where the law requires it, for example with HMRC, the police or a court.
Comments left on the site may be checked by an automated spam detection service. If you use Gravatar, an anonymised version of your email address may be sent to Gravatar to see whether you have a profile picture; see automattic.com/privacy.
Cookies and embedded content
We use cookies to make the shop work (for example to remember your bag), to keep you logged in, and, with your consent, to measure how the site is used and to show relevant advertising. Full details and how to change your choices are in our Cookies Policy. Pages may include embedded content such as videos or images from other websites. These sites may collect information about you in the same way as if you had visited them directly.
Please avoid uploading images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as other visitors can download and read it.
Our mobile app
The Jag Couture app for Android lets you browse and buy from our shop. It uses the same account, orders and information as the website and collects no more than the website does. The app does not use your precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera, and it does not show third-party advertising. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time using the form on our app privacy and data deletion page.
Sending information outside the UK
Some of our providers are based outside the UK. When your information is sent abroad we make sure it is protected, for example by using countries the UK recognises as providing adequate protection or by using approved contract terms with the provider.
How long we keep your information
We keep order and accounting records for six years, as the law requires. Account details are kept while your account is open and deleted when you ask us to close it, except for records we must keep. Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe. Comments and their details are kept until you or we remove them. Technical data is kept for as long as each cookie or service needs, as explained in our Cookies Policy.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, to move it to another provider, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us at info@jagcouture.com. We will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
Our shop is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
